Maola's Pizzeria & Restaurant has been a neighborhood table in Old Town Cornelius since 2017, bringing more than 35 years of Italian culinary experience to the Lake Norman community.

Maola's opened on North Main Street with a clear purpose: serve honest, old-world Italian cooking to Cornelius and the surrounding Lake Norman area.

From day one, the cooking has centered on traditional, homemade dishes built from original recipes — the kind that don't get tweaked to cut corners. That commitment is still what fills the dining room.

Under Rosario family ownership, every original recipe stayed intact while the dining room gained a modern, casual warmth that makes guests linger.

NY-style hand-tossed pizza and daily lunch slices share the menu with made-to-order seafood, beef, veal, and specialty pies well beyond the classic Grandma and Sicilian.
